Can car seats missing their infant inserts be sold?
No, all original parts, including inserts, must be included as per the waiver.

Can I sell car seat accessories?
Yes, as long as they are not under recall.

Can I choose not to sell certain items, like car seats?
Yes, it is up to each sale organizer to decide which items to pull.

​Cribs and Related Items

Can a crib now used as a toddler bed be sold?
No, cribs must be sold as cribs with all original parts.

Can crib tents be sold?
We recommend not selling crib tents due to safety concerns.

Can I sell a crib without its hardware or with replacement hardware?
No, cribs must include their original or manufacturer-approved hardware.

Can I sell rail covers or slat covers for cribs?
No, these are prohibited under the crib bumper ban, which includes vertical slat covers and rail covers.

​Food and Breast Pumps

Can I sell food items such as formula?
This is at the discretion of each sale, but formula must be sealed, unused, and not marked as distributed through a program.

Can I sell breast pumps?
Yes, but only closed-system pumps are allowed, and no used parts can be sold with the pump.

​General Guidelines

Can I sell items similar to recalled products if they are a different brand, SKU, or color?
Yes, as long as they are not part of the recall.

Can I sell weighted sleep sacks or similar products?
We recommend not selling weighted sleep sacks or similar sleep products for infants.

Can I sell an item over 10 years old?
We recommend not selling items over 10 years old.

Can I sell knock-off brands of Magna-Tiles?
Yes, as long as they are intended for U.S. sale and are not under recall.

​Highchairs, Bouncers, And Swings

Can highchairs missing straps be sold?
No, highchairs must include all straps if they were originally part of the product.

Can I sell bouncers or swings without straps?
No, all straps must be included.

​Infant Sleep Products

Can I sell weighted sleep sacks or similar products?
We recommend not selling weighted sleep sacks or similar sleep products for infants.

Can I sell sleeping boxes for infants?
No, these do not meet the standards for approved infant sleep products.

Can I sell products like DockATot loungers marketed as infant loungers?
No, these items are not currently allowed. We will continue to reevaluate this.

​Labeling Standards

Can I sell an item that is not sold in the USA?
No, as we cannot confirm if it meets U.S. safety standards.

Can I sell items with missing or damaged warning labels or manufacturer information stickers?
No, all items must have intact warning labels and manufacturer information.

​Mattresses and Furniture

Can a pack ‘n play be sold with a mattress that was not originally included?
No, it cannot be sold with an aftermarket mattress. However, the pack ‘n play mattress itself can be sold separately.

​Recalled or Fixed Products

If a product that has a recall includes a fix, can it still be sold?
Yes, but the fix must be installed before sale—not just included with the item.

If an item is recalled in another country but not in the USA, can I sell it?
Yes, as long as it has not been recalled in the USA.

If a recall requires a fix that involves removing or cutting parts, must I sell it?
No, it is up to each sale organizer to decide whether to accept the item for sale.
